About Us

Zip 2 Water Systems dispense an unlimited supply of fresh, pure drinking water at outdoor athletic fields, job sites and community events. For coaches, supervisors and event organizers, our patent pending system ensures proper hydration for athletes, workers and event participants, without the expense and litter of disposable water bottles.

What's the problem?

America has built the safest, most complete network of municipal water systems in the world. Most of us use it every day at home and at work.  Municipal water connections are also common on school grounds, in public parks, and along city streets. However, water at these locations is rarely accessible to those who need it most: thirsty people like athletes, construction workers and event participants. Instead, the network ends at a locked hose spigot, in an underground box, or at a fire hydrant.

Our solution:

The Zip 2 Water System turns virtually any municipal water source into a high capacity, self serve, water bottle refilling station. 64% of Americans report using refillable water bottles at home or at work.1  Now with the Zip 2 Water System, we can refill our water bottles "away from the tap" and take one more step towards kicking the disposable bottled water habit. Our exclusive, patent pending system:

  • Sets up quickly for a weekend event, a sports season, or a year long project
  • Is self-serve, "barrier-free" so that everyone can help themselves
  • Filters out chlorine and other compounds to deliver fresh, pure drinking water
  • Maintains the water at refreshing, cool temperatures - even under a hot sun
  • Uses proven, vandal-resistant components designed to give many years of service
  • Meets plumbing and safety codes required by health and water agencies
  • Eliminates the time and expense of cleaning up disposable water bottle litter
  • Creates American jobs - designed and built in the USA

If you run an athletics program, outdoor job site or organize events, you owe it to yourself to try the Zip 2 Water System.  Order your Zip 2 Water System today, or contact us and we'll be happy to help you by phone or email.

1America's Least Wasteful City Study, April 2010

An Unmet Need
Zip 2 Water, Inc. is a Spokane, Washington based company founded in 2010. It began with a problem posed on a hot Sunday afternoon: how to provide youth soccer tournament participants access to inexpensive, litter-free water. We drafted a list of product requirements that evening and set to work. On Monday morning, the manager of the City of Spokane’s “Tap Water Trailer” recounted to us his nightmarish experience trying to serve water to 200,000 people at Spokane’s Hoopfest basketball tournament. He was adamant that a scalable, self-serve solution like ours was needed for large events. On Tuesday, we built and tested a functional prototype in our garage. By Friday, we had permission to conduct a full scale trial at a soccer tournament the following weekend.

A Plan In Motion
Fast forward to today: Thousands of people have sought out the Zip 2 Water system to refill their water bottles at sports tournaments, community events and job sites. Based on these real-world trials, we have made over 100 product refinements to ensure a superior consumer experience and a profitable business model for distributors and service providers. We have retained legal firm Lee & Hayes of Spokane, Washington to manage our patent portfolio development and have filed our first patent application.
